Nature & Energy Insights
Choose your thoughts wisely“Everything is energy. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.” Albert Einstein
"If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never ever have enough." – Oprah Winfrey Have you ever wanted something so badly, and felt so determined to bring it to fruition in your life, that you could actually see yourself doing it, or having the subject of your intentions? That is precisely what I’m calling your vibrational reality. Some might say you “willed it into being”. You simply didn’t see it any other way. You didn’t allow your doubts to creep in – or if you did, you didn’t allow those doubts to linger. You spent *more* time seeing what you wanted. Jim Carrey has spoken numerous times about manifesting his success by writing himself a check for $10 million for a date ten years in the future. This is how he brought his vibrational reality into being. I created my move back to California when I was living on the East Coast, several jobs that I’ve had, and, with my partner and a vision board, created our new home. That one was particularly funny because after we bought the property, we happened upon the vision board again and were actually pleasantly surprised that every single thing on the vision board was represented in this newly created opportunity. I have a dear friend who was determined to have a home, at a certain price, in a certain neighborhood. Everyone that she knew – including her realtor – explained to her that it was not possible. My friend, being a determined woman anyway, simply didn’t live in their reality – she lived in hers, the one where things you can imagine ARE possible. And guess what? She and her children have been happily enjoying that home – for which she paid the price she envisioned – for many years now. And she set an important example for her children of what is possible when you dream it. I smile every time I walk into her home and think about this vibrational reality becoming a physical one. So let’s use some exercises to help illustrate the point: 1. Global warming: No, we’re not saying that scientists are wrong, that we shouldn’t be educated about what science is telling us, or otherwise shouldn’t talk about it. This is our PHYSICAL reality. But what we ARE saying is that the more time you spend in the dire PHYSICAL reality of what’s happening, rather than envisioning what you WANT to be in your world, we – and our world – have a tougher time bringing in a better reality in our future.
"Pretending is the fastest way to believing, and believing is the fastest way to receiving." - Mike Dooley 2. Past transgressions and traumas: While sadly we do indeed experience life with pain, trauma, and other emotional and physical injuries, this is our PHYSICAL reality. If we spend time reiterating all of the bad that has happened to us, or spend time thinking about how wronged we are in life, or continue to tell our story of these past injuries to whomever will listen, we are unfortunately unwittingly creating a circle of energy that cycles this anger, sadness, depression, and other issues back to us. I speak from my own experiences so I know all too well how to dwell in my own “history”. Luckily, I had some very wise life “teachers” who helped me to begin using visualizations and other tools to set me down a positive path of a different VIBRATIONAL reality that led me to where I am now. So let’s walk through another example:
"...When you begin to realize that when you change how you think and feel, you change your state of being, when you change your energy, you'll see a change in your life." – Dr. Joe Dispenza And so it is in this context that I’m inviting others to join me for #WetWednesdays in which we spend a mere minute envisioning rain in California, Oregon, Australia and wherever else a region can benefit from it. I hope that you’ll join me! Let’s SEE ourselves in a positive way of living. Let’s FEEL what it feels like to be in a different place in our lives. The more of our senses we can put into this, the more aligned we are to a new VIBRATIONAL reality. Give it a try for something you want to change in your life. What do you have to lose, while having so much to gain.

I just recently responded on Instagram to a number of public posts from people depressed about the state of our natural world. Many nature lovers wrote expressing the sadness they feel when trying to save our planet and do the right thing to bring about change. They are people living Gandhi’s motto, “Be the change you want to be in the world” and they’re working hard to make it so. Yet they were feeling a bit down and overwhelmed. This got me thinking about how we approach problems – especially ones that can seem so large as to overwhelm us and make our potential for impact seem almost impossible. Change *is* possible if we can approach it with thoughts of what is possible, rather than what is not. This approach can help us overcome any of our feelings of inadequacy, frustration and fear. I know it sounds counterintuitive – you’re down and sad but you need to be upbeat about the position of our planet (or anything that saddens you)? Yes!! Recall the point of view about seeing a glass half empty or half full? Now you’re on the right track …. So nature lovers: Let’s shift the energy to that of the possibilities and act ‘as if’. This can have a profound impact, especially the more of us who participate in this ‘shift’. Here are some things we can all do right now for our planet, the people and the animals that inhabit it: 1 – Start your day thanking the Universe that the planet, and all of its inhabitants, are healthy. And call in anything else for their health that you’d like. Remember, focus on what you want (i.e. keep the message positive) and act as if is is already so. 2 – Reinforce it by writing it down. You can do this with a list of your “intentions” above, hold a visualization in your mind each morning, and/or create a vision board of a beautifully, healthy planet with pictures of goodness. Examples include animals and places on our planet who are healthy and treated with the respect and reverence they deserve 3 – Surround yourself with positive people who are also making a difference in the world. The above is not forgetting what we need to change. It’s about bringing a more positive energy to the problems where real change can happen. If you want to learn more on this subject, you can watch interviews with Dr. Joe Dispenza, listen to part of an Oprah interview with Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, and/or learn more from the likes of the late Dr. Wayne Dyer, Gregg Braden, Mike Dooley, and many others on the power of this approach to the goodness we want to bring to our world. If you don't feel like you can quite get there on your own - feeling down, overwhelmed, lacking self-esteem or other lower vibration, feel free to book a session to see how The Emotion Code and Body Code may be able to help you. So if you want to create the change you want to see in our world and in your life: Let’s DO this!!!! “The universe corresponds to the nature of your song.” – Michael Bernard Beckwith |
