“We are not victims of our genes, but masters of our fates, able to create lives overflowing with peace, happiness, and love.” - Dr. Bruce Lipton
With one of my clients, we have discovered the family cat using the behavior of pooping outside the litter box whenever it wants to get a message to the human family. In working with the cat, I release the causal or contributing imbalances, and the family has gotten fast at recognizing what has changed in the home to contribute to the behavior. In being mindful and observant of the cat as a family member, they lovingly find workarounds or other solutions to address the situation. In some cases, we have also worked with the young child in the home who had been rough with the cat, in order to improve the behavior between the two. This has had great results for the entire family.

Refresh and Renew for 2021
Yep – we made it through 2020. What a relief! I know that, for some, it has taken a toll. I see it in my clients every day – even those who take good care of themselves, deal with their emotions with ease, and have great health. I hope that you’ve been kind to yourselves and managed through as well as possible. I am holding a vision of a kind, healthy 2021 – one that allows us to release much of the heaviness of 2020 and look positively forward to all of the promise of the new year. And speaking of moving forward, it might be time to shed the load of the last year….
My website has a page full of wonderful practices that you can adopt any time to clear energy and move through life more “lightly”. From healing music on YouTube to Qigong and yoga to move energy through your body, to saging or using incense and essential oils at home, there are wonderful tools available. Starting 2021 to clear all of that residual “gunk” from 2020 is the perfect time to adopt these healthy practices. And of course don’t forget a healthy menu of high vibrational meals is another wonderful way to gift yourself and your family with good health.
In December, after working with one particular client to release her trapped emotions when a family close to hers had been struck with the virus, we set out to determine why her young child was not sleeping well at night. There were no noticeable issues with the child’s health or emotional well-being. So I did a Body Code session on the little one, too, and discovered that the child had absorbed the exact trapped emotions of Panic and Shock that the mother had experienced upon receiving the news. We can often forget that our emotions can impact those with whom we’re close – including young children. But the great thing about the Body Code is that we can release those trapped emotions and they can become non-issues. The child rested better thereafter and the mother could also move on with her work and home life.
I’ve worked with others who have been impacted by the virus in some way or another – including those on the front lines - but this family really got me thinking about how much we’ve all been carrying. I felt very strongly that I should offer a way to reach more people to release any of those trapped emotions from what they’ve experienced in 2020. Running abbreviated, focused, reduced rate sessions on just those most “acute” emotions from the year allows me to help make a broader positive impact on our world. So I set up the 15-for-$30 offer. Simply put, it’s 15 minutes of energy work to focus in to release any heavy trapped emotions from 2020 that we can release in that time. Use it as often as you’d like and use it with other family members if you feel others can use the release as well. I’m happy to be able to offer this service. Let’s see how many people we can make lighter, releasing 2020 and starting fresh for 2021!
How I work
For those that haven’t used my services previously, the great news is that nothing is required of you during the session. I work completely remotely and email you all of the details of what we released. All I ask is that you rest and hydrate well after the session so that you can move through those released emotions with ease. That’s it!
Wishing all of you a blessed, healthy, joyful 2021 – goodness knows, we can all use it!
My Top 6 "Must Have" Essential Oils
One of my wellness practices is diffusing essential oils every day. They lift my mood, help me to relax at night, and do many more things depending upon which ones I'm diffusing or applying topically. Some I diffuse by themselves, while I also enjoy creating blends and exploring what gorgeous fragrances I can create. That's why I made it one of my Top 10 Favorite Gifts of Wellness.
So what's with essential oils? Each essential oil has its own vibration and as such, the oil can help with many aspects of our lives. We can actually use the The Body Code to test which essential oils are right for clients if there are oils that can help with their current challenge. I've been able to recommend these oils for goals such as calm amidst anxieties, resting better at night, for alertness at work, for balancing Chakras, and even for infants’ teething pain and to build self-confidence. It's particularly come up as a potential remedy when I'm treating teenagers with self-esteem issues. I can test the type of application (topical, diffused, inhaled), the amount of oil (for example, 2 drops), the number of times/week the client should use it, and the duration in which they should use it. Who knew such a simple 'gift' can pack such a punch!
I’ve created an Essential Oils Pinterest folder - among other Client Resources - that clients use for more information and it's available to anyone. I've even included some fun oil blends just for the holidays from across Pinterest. And of course you can follow any of the essential oils vendors such as DoTerra, Rocky Mountain Oils and others on social media to learn more about these fabulous oils.
So as you're thinking about gift-giving, I thought it would be fun to share my own favorites - and ones that we've bought for our mothers to have on hand, too.

I hope you can find your favorite go-to oils yourself. And in the meantime, you can spread a little joy at the holidays this year by introducing other loved ones to essential oils as well. Happy holidays!
